MySpace and Facebook Published 2007-04-06 at 22:11:29Z under biographical, homepage, web I've had a MySpace page for a while now, and I've even commented on it. Off in the periphery I kept hearing of this Facebook thing, and when a co-worker mentioned it to me last week, I figured I'd go ahead and check it out. Wow! This is everything MySpace should have been. Everything is structured, clean, easily readable, and usable. It bears no resemblance to the chaotic mess that is MySpace. It's becoming clear to me that MySpace is really intended for kids, who want to slap some crap up and share it with their friends. Facebook is intended for those of us that are over, say, 15. So if you're so inclined, I invite you to check it out, and don't think that social networking sites are just for kids anymore. (I've also played around with LinkedIn, but for some reason I never really liked it.) π © 2006-2008 David Nesting. Some rights reserved, unless otherwise noted.
