Man... i wish someone had just flamed me for being so damn ignorant. Here i
am with a pinout handed to me on a platter - and i go and make it all
complicated and screw it up. And of coarse nobody says a friggin word !!!
The CN1 connector on the board has been listed w/ this pinout like almost
since day one.
1 RED 6
2 7 Horz
3 GREEN 8
4 9 Vert
5 BLUE 10 GND
And for some reason i assume the 4 dead pins or unused pins sounded - well -
i dunno... wierd considering the the LCD has 8million wires... and even an
old VGA 9pin monitor used like 7or8 pins... so i added in Returns for all 3
colors a sync return... etc... and probably came damn close to blowing my
iopener to hell... i know i must have drawn 1/2 the juice out of it. But
anyways... not i find out the is is as simple as it always was...
the most obvious of answers... here is the pinout from
CN1 to VGA(15)
IO (10) - VGA (female 15)
1 RED 1 Red Out
2 -
3 GREEN 2 Green Out
4 -
5 BLUE 3 Blue Out
6 -
7 HORZ 13 Horz Out
8 --
9 VERT 14 Vert Out
10 GND 5 Ground
Mines a little noisey - and the coloring is off a bit... but the monitor im
using is cheap and i dotn exactly have a permanent connector built yet....
ahhh well <grin>
