5 volts is all over the place.
u can get 1000 volts from the backlight if you like :-)
in fact let me just post what i have so far of the first serial port
thats the one the modem was on... Ive been working on this
for a few hours and im sure its right so far
NONE are to telephone jacks ...as some speculated.
still missing RX,TX, and something else ...
that leaves 4 mystery pins...

Around the IDE Header, you'll probably find 5V since that is what notebook hard drives use.
