Hey... i asked this on the old list but here lets try it here
The Iopener secondary VGA connector supposedly pin's out like this:
1 RED 6
2 7 Horz
3 GREEN 8
4 9 Vert
5 BLUE 10 GND
Im guessing this means that the extra pins work like this:
1 RED 6 Blue Gnd
2 Red Gnd 7 Horz
3 GREEN 8 Sync Ground
4 Green Gnd 9 Vert
5 BLUE 10 GND
Im guessing at this because i havent had a chance to test the 1/3/5 pins to
see if the conform to the 0.7V p-p to 75ohm load they should. The rest
should all be ttl level according to pinouts ive seen.
HAs anyone else checked this out? HAs anyone bougth the one kit that
supposedly contains the Ext VGA cable for the iopener??
HAve you tested its pinouts?
I assume this is the pinout of the cable needed. Please tell me what you
think...
IO (10) - VGA (female 15)
1 RED 1 Red Out
2 REDGND 6 Red Rtn
3 GREEN 2 Green Out
4 GRNGND 7 Green Rtn
5 BLUE 3 Blue Out
6 BLUEGND 8 Blue Rtn
7 HORZ 13 Horz Out
8 SYNC GND 10/11 Sync Rtn & Monitor ID0 in
9 VERT 14 Vert Out
10 GND 5 Ground
Okay Guys.... Poke away... any holes? I dont wann blow my Monitor or My
iopener so im holding off untill im more sure <smirk>
